Horndean Techonlogy College (HTC) are setting up an e-mentoring scheme for their Gifted & Talented (G&T) students.
The scheme will be focused on offering guidance and support to the HTC students as they choose options, take exams and think about potential career paths.
HTC are looking for volunteers to become e-mentors for students. The time and commitment is minimal and by sharing your knowledge and expertise you will help to prepare HTC’s students for the world of work and gain first world of work and gain first hand experience of what the next generation of professional will have to offer.
E-mentors should have a specific industry, skill or profession which will be matched to the aspirations and needs of a Gifted & Talented learner. You need to have access to e-mail and the internet and full support and guidance materials will be provided when you are paired with a student. Volunteers will be subject to CRB check and the scheme anticipated to start in September 2013.
Please email email@example.com to register your interest in volunteering for the Gifted & Talented program.
If you are a student and looking for information on the G&T program you will find information on the HTC G&T website.
